Hi, My name is Nathalie
I’m a twenty something-year-old artist, model, collector, photographer, designer and blogger living in the city of Los Angeles. When I’m not working at my day job in digital marketing, I’m working as a photographer and a model. My work and clients have included Darling Magazine, Transworld Media, Oakley Inc, TJMaxx, Lucky Brand Jeans, OC Metro and more.
I’ve realized that there were a few things I always circled back to in my day-to-day and that there must be a reason beyond me as to why. I’m happiest when I’m getting dirty, surfing, cooking or creating something really cool and beautiful. You’ll probably see me posting about beach hair and bikinis one day and the morose but beautiful nature of taxidermy, aged whiskey or cafe racers the next. I’m a bit of a nerd and love to read anything I can get my hands on, on whatever topic interests me. How things are made, how waves are formed, what makes people and objects tick, all that is mesmerizing to me. The mechanics of life and this world boggle my mind with how everything flows together. So… I may geek out on you once in awhile. William Morris once said, “Have nothing in your house that you do not consider beautiful or useful.” and I’ve been trying to live my life according to that.
Davy was created in the Fall of 2010 and showcases my creativity, style, surfing and life experiences. It was also primarily created to be an outlet for women surfers who also have a keen eye for style (clothing & otherwise). Since a blog combining the outdoors and style was very scarce, I took it a exciting challenge.
Are you looking for services? I’m available for brand ambassadorships, affliate advertising, social media promotions and more. If you’re interested in working with me, I’d love to hear from you.
All photos, materials, copy, etc. are mine unless stated otherwise. I always try to credit the appropriate source when posting other’s work. If you see your work on here and you would rather it not be or it is uncredited, please let me know so I can either take it down or credit you appropriately. I know how it sucks to have your work unappreciated and stolen so I totally understand. That being said, please do not share my photos unless you have my expressed permission and it is properly credited.
Last thing, the views expressed are mine alone and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer.
